- The employee's acceptable identity and work authorization documents
- Any employer login, packet, or Section 2 workflow
- A current phone number for the employer contact
- The employee's completed Section 1 if the employer requires it first

- The employer has authorized a representative to complete the task
- Original documents are presented when required
- Document titles, issuing authorities, and dates are entered carefully
- No seal or notarial language is added
- The completed packet is returned according to employer instructions
